Rotary International is the world's first service club organization with more than 1.2 million members in 35,000 clubs worldwide. Rotary club members are volunteers who work locally, regionally, and internationally to combat hunger, improve health and sanitation, provide education and job training, promote peace, and eradicate polio under the motto "Service Above Self".

The Downtown Rotary Club of New Braunfels, Texas was founded in 1982 by active community leaders with a mission to provide support and service to the citizens of New Braunfels and Comal CountySince its inception, the Downtown Rotary Club has provided over $6,800,000 in support to the community through various donations, grants, and scholarships.  Also, a small portion of the dollars raised from our Wurstfest booth is given to international causes each year. 

The Downtown Rotary Club meets at noon for lunch every Thursday at the McKenna Events Center, Krueger Room, located at 801 W. San Antonio St, New Braunfels, Texas.
